RiverTree Life Academy Apprenticeships & Trade School
A Regenerative Trade & Apprenticeship School for the Next Generation
River Tree Life Academy is a next-generation trade and apprenticeship school based in Boulder, Colorado, preparing young adults for meaningful, stable, purpose-driven careers in the regenerative economy.
We combine hands-on trade training, real-world apprenticeships, and credit-bearing education with deep community engagement and leadership development. Our students do not simply study — they build, grow, heal, create, organize, and lead in the real world.
Our Learning Model
River Tree Life Academy operates through a hybrid apprenticeship framework:
-
On-site learning hubs and field placements
-
Project-based instruction tied to real deliverables
-
Mentorship by experienced practitioners and leaders
-
College credit through our academic partners
-
Trade certification and workforce preparation
Students graduate with practical skills, professional portfolios, documented apprenticeships, and real community impact.
Accreditation & College Credit
Through our partnership with University of the Wild and University of Massachusetts Amherst, students earn college credit for their apprenticeship projects and learning experiences. This partnership structure also allows students to access accredited educational pathways and qualify for education funding and scholarships.
Students are eligible to apply for Mike Rowe Works Foundation scholarships, which can cover tuition, tools, learning supplies, and books — making high-quality trade education accessible and affordable.
